Bootleg LeBron shirts hit the Wildwood boardwalk

Unauthorized Sixers merch races the official supply at the Jersey Shore, plus Prizm World Cup stickers, a $300K LeBron rookie, and two vintage grading dramas.

One day on from the Fanatics sellout, official NBA store jerseys ($149.99) depleted again and Mitchell & Ness launched a James-Sixers line the same Sunday; a separate NBC10 report counted 'thousands of fake jerseys' on the Wildwood boardwalk.

Bootleg LeBron Sixers shirts hit the Wildwood boardwalk as official jerseys sell out again

Days after LeBron James' move to the 76ers was confirmed, street vendors were selling unauthorized T-shirts that photoshop his face onto a No. 23 Sixers jersey along the Wildwood boardwalk and outside a Phillies game. Official NBA store jerseys at $149.99 sold out or nearly depleted the same day, and Mitchell & Ness dropped its own James-Sixers collection that Sunday, so licensed and bootleg supply were racing each other. If you want the real thing, the official channels are the safe buy; the boardwalk shirts are unlicensed knockoffs, not collectibles.

Checklist Insider (published July 17, updated July 21) reports an expected arrival around September 2026; no official on-sale date announced.

Panini brings Prizm to World Cup stickers with a 980-piece set and Dutch-auction boxes

Prizm is coming to World Cup stickers for the first time: a 980-sticker set with 115 parallels, including Gold /10, Green /5, and a Black 1/1, plus a special-edition album and a removable stainless-steel Prizm logo plate in every box. Boxes will sell by Dutch auction on Panini's own site, where the price starts high and drops until it sells out or hits the floor. No firm release date yet, so if you collect World Cup sticker parallels this is the one to watch the Panini site for.

Footy Headlines confirms the release at 125 euros against a 100 euro Adidas retail baseline for the sponsor-free version.

Como 1907's new Adidas home kit lands at 125 euros, a 25-euro markup over plain Adidas retail

Como 1907's Adidas home shirt for 26-27 released at 125 euros through the club's official outlets, which is 25 euros over Adidas's standard 100 euro price for the same shirt without sponsor logos. The design keeps a royal blue base with subtle tonal pinstripes and a nod to the Como city flag. If the premium stings, last season's kit is now half price at 55 euros through Adidas.

First-hand account from the Tier 1 vintage dealer that handled the card, with the trimming and flattening risk stated up front rather than glossed over.

Just Collect frees a 1952 Topps Mantle rookie from a decades-old screwdown, no visible damage

A 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle rookie, which Just Collect calls the card to own in the hobby, turned up still sealed in an old 1980s-90s screwdown case where it had sat for years. It came out with no visible damage, though the owner, Leighton, suspects it may be trimmed, and it is headed to grading to check whether the screwdown flattened it. Just Collect notes even a poor-condition '52 Mantle runs around $20,000, with high-grade copies reaching six to seven figures.

A concrete, unusual grading-house rejection on an iconic rookie, reported first-hand by the Tier 1 dealer that owns the card, with a named comparison case rather than an invented valuation.

SGC returns a 1954 Topps Hank Aaron rookie ungraded, calling it too brittle to handle

Just Collect submitted a heavily worn 1954 Topps Hank Aaron rookie to SGC, which sent it back ungraded, saying the card was too brittle to even assign a grade or an Authentic designation. Just Collect calls that a rare outcome, pointing to a 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth it once owned that earned an Authentic grade despite a missing corner. The dealer says the Aaron still carries real value in spite of its condition.
