Topps has posted an August 10 preorder date for 2026 Bowman Chrome, with pricing, formats and the checklist still to come. When we covered this preorder on August 4 the release date was still unconfirmed; barring delays, the August 10 window now points to a September 9 release. The chase collectors are already flagging is the 'Red RC' cards of Rookie of the Year contenders Kevin McGonigle and JJ Wetherholt, each worth $100 in Fancash buyback credit if the player wins the award.

Year two of Topps Stadium Club UFC has an estimated August 14 release, with presales open since July 13. The 200-card base set runs Conor McGregor, Jon Jones, Amanda Nunes, Islam Makhachev and Khabib Nurmagomedov, brings back the Beam Team and Triumvirates inserts, and adds new Fight Motion cards. Hobby boxes are $114.99 with two autographs each; mega boxes go for $49.99 and value blasters $24.99.

Southampton's 2026-27 Puma away kit went on sale August 7. It carries an all-over swirling marble pattern in blue and pink, a nod to the Solent and the city's port heritage, finished with a silver Puma logo and an all-silver club crest. It fits Puma's recent run of statement graphic kits, after similar work for FC St. Pauli and Senegal.

SI's collectibles desk calls it a new record for Josh Allen cards. The buyer and any prior comparable figures were not disclosed.

Cardboard Connection's live tracker of the most-watched eBay sports card auctions has a PSA 7 1984 Star #101 Michael Jordan rookie out front today at $95,100, with 245 watchers and 62 bids. A pre-Fleer Jordan rookie pushing six figures on open bidding is a heavy result on its own. For a recent marker on the same issue, a PSA 6 copy of the same card sold for $102,023 on July 22, a completed sale rather than a live bid.

The Star Rubies are one of the era's genuinely scarce parallels, so any graded copy on open bidding gets watched closely. A PSA 8 copy of this card sat at $16,105 four days ago, so a copy of this issue keeps landing near the top of the board.
