Beckett has suspended new online submissions for its two cheapest tiers, Base ($14.95 to $17.95, 75-plus business days) and Standard ($34.95, 45 business days), citing a 102% year-over-year jump in card submissions between July 2025 and July 2026. The pricier Express and Priority tiers stay open, and Beckett estimates reopening Base and Standard around September 15. It follows PSA's own pause of its lower-cost Value tiers, so the affordable way into grading just narrowed at both of the big two.

It is a different card from the 2009 Topps Curry PSA 10 rookie the desk covered on July 27, so this is a fresh top-end result on the Curry rookie, not the same copy back around.

The one-of-one 2025-26 Topps Chrome Update Rookie Debut Patch Autograph of Cooper Flagg, pulled in Rhode Island by RhodyBreakers on August 10-11 from a $515 Mavericks break spot, now has a real bid on it. Collectibles marketplace Alt opened a 'Debut Bounty Auction,' a pre-consignment format where offers only become binding if the owner lists with Alt, and as of August 12 the top bid stood at $3 million hammer, $3.6 million with buyer's premium. That clears Goldin's $1.5 million cash advance offer from the day before and puts a concrete number under the $5 million speculative valuation we tracked while the card was still unpulled.
