Topps Collector Tins add Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain dates

The 2026/27 club tin line picks up two more confirmed preorder dates at a UK shop, a month behind the first three clubs.

Two more clubs join the 2026/27 Topps club tin line, both dated at UK hobby shop Jakes Breaks: Arsenal on October 6 and Paris Saint-Germain on October 23, each at 24.99 GBP. The format matches the earlier tins at 35 cards a tin, with two sequentially numbered parallels guaranteed, the new For The Badge subset, Gold Vault Limited Edition cards, and randomly inserted autographs that run up to 1-of-1 Gold Foilfractors. The Arsenal page states 72 units in stock with a six-per-person limit, so the preorder pool at this shop is small. One caution, the same one that applied when our September 6 coverage dated the Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United tins to September 17: these dates come from a retailer listing, not from Topps.

Footy Headlines reports Real Madrid's 27-28 third kit will be purple, with no date or design given

The exclusive is one word long: purple. Footy Headlines paired archival shots of Real Madrid in past purple and dark kits with a flat purple panel carrying the adidas logo and the club crest, and gave no pattern, no price, and no release date. Read it as a color claim from a specialist kit leaker rather than a confirmed kit: neither Real Madrid nor adidas has said anything, and the purple that does turn up elsewhere for 27-28 belongs to a reported home-kit accent and a Y-3 x adidas fourth-kit collection, both different products. For shape, the 26-27 third kit leaked in pink.

Footy Headlines reports Liverpool's 27-28 away kit will be black, color only

Same leaker, same shape of claim, one kit slot over: Liverpool's 27-28 away shirt will be black. The post is a collage of four old Liverpool shirts carrying the Standard Chartered sponsor plus an adidas trefoil and crest panel, all archive material, so there is no design detail in it to read. Liverpool and adidas have confirmed nothing, and the only 27-28 Liverpool kit with secondary coverage so far is the home shirt, reported as a red tonal check. Liverpool's 26-27 third kit was black, so this would be the color moving one slot rather than arriving new.

r/baseballcards disputes a card show's grade 4 on an inherited Babe Ruth, with a Heritage specialist in the thread

A poster put up photos of a Babe Ruth #53 and a Lou Gehrig #144 left behind by their late grandfather, still in old screw-down holders, after a card show graded the Ruth a 4 on site. The thread did not agree: experienced collectors put it closer to a 1 or 2 once a crease and the recessed holder are accounted for, and the comps they cited run about $12,000 to $15,000 for a PSA 1, roughly double at PSA 2, with one commenter citing a recent PSA 6 sale at $62,500. Heritage, REA, and Goldin all got argued for, and a Heritage Auctions specialist posted in the thread under a named account, offering to help value and consign the group. Every number in there is a commenter's, not a verified sale, which is the honest state of any cards-in-a-drawer thread before grading.

Football Tweet recaps Cesc Fabregas's run from retiring at Como to winning the club's first Champions League match

✅ 2023: Cesc Fàbregas decided to retire from professional football at Como. ✅ 2024: He helped the club earn promotion to Serie A as an assistant coach. ✅ 2025: He guided Como to a top-10 finish in Serie A as head coach. ✅ May 2026: He led Como to a top-four finish in Serie A, qualifying the club for the Champions League for the first time in their history. ✅ September 2026: He won Como’s first-ever Champions League match 4-1 against RB Leipzig. Put some respect on Cesc’s name. ❤️🇪🇸

Three years from hanging up his boots at Como to a 4-1 win over RB Leipzig on September 10 in the club's first ever Champions League match, with a promotion as assistant coach and a top-four Serie A finish in between. Como's first European season is the kind of run that makes a small club's shirts from it worth holding on to.
