Prizm WNBA dated September 25, $250 a hobby box

Cardlines has Panini's flagship WNBA set at 144 cards a box and a suggested price around $250, one of three WNBA releases to pick up a first stated price on today's Drop Radar.

Panini's flagship line gets its WNBA edition on September 25: 12 packs to a box, 144 cards, two autographs, 24 Prizm parallels and 10 inserts, with 12 boxes to a hobby case. Cardlines puts Panini's suggested price around $250 a hobby box and notes early secondary listings already running higher. The rookie class is the draw, with No. 1 pick Azzi Fudd and No. 2 Olivia Miles landing alongside Caitlin Clark, Paige Bueckers and A'ja Wilson. The September 25 date is unchanged from our August 29 coverage; the price and the box breakdown are what is new.

A September 4 ship date and a GBP 225 pre-order price listed by Sports Trading Cards UK, with Panini's own Coming Soon page carrying the product but stating no date.

The UK retailer has pre-orders open on the hobby box: 12 packs of 8 cards, three autographs or memorabilia cards and about 24 inserts and parallels a box on average, including Gold Downtowns numbered to 10. GBP 225 is the first price stated on this set anywhere we have seen, and the September 4 ship date is unchanged from our August 27 coverage. Panini's own Coming Soon catalog carries the same product with a live countdown and no date at all, so the retailer is the one putting a day on it.

One pack of nine cards a box, and the pack is the whole product: five autographs, three base or base parallel cards, and one insert a box on average, with Timeless Moments inserts and Silver Bar, Gold Bar and Stainless Stars parallels. GBP 550 is the pre-order ask. Read the date carefully, though: October 9 is the retailer's estimated ship date, not a Panini announcement, and Panini's own Coming Soon page still lists this box with no date, which is exactly where our September 1 coverage left it.

The jacket came out of Campo Bahia, the resort Germany used as its base camp for the 2014 World Cup, bought from someone who worked there, and it carries the initials MR. The poster worked through the tags, the construction details and period photos before landing at about 99 percent confident it was Marco Reus's, which carries its own sting: Reus was ruled out of that tournament by injury before it started. No price, no sale, no grade to lean on. This is the kind of post where the research in the comments is the value, and national team training wear is where that chain back to a player is hardest to establish.

ANOTHER $1M OHTANI SALE 🚀 The 2025 Topps Dynasty Gold Shohei Ohtani MLB Logoman Patch Auto 1/1 PSA 9 sold for $1,140,000. That makes this one of Ohtani's top 10 highest sales of all time.

A PSA 9 with a 10 autograph, cert 169604050, through Fanatics Collect, and the account puts it inside Ohtani's ten biggest sales ever. Sports Card Investor posted the identical cert number and the identical figure two days earlier, so this is one sale surfacing twice rather than two results.

Do you think this PSA 10 Murakami Anime Kanji Variation went for too low? 👀 A PSA 10 2026 Bowman Chrome Anime Kanji Variation Munetaka Murakami sold for $11,400.

Card #BA-3, cert 16157126, with no marketplace or sale date stated beyond the post itself, which asks the room whether $11,400 was low. For range, a different anime Murakami sold for $20,000 back in July; worth noting too that the post says 2026 Bowman Chrome while the PSA label in the photo reads 2026 Bowman without it.
